Assassin's Creed: The Renaissance Codex is set in fifteenth century Italy and features a young nobleman-turned-assassin, Ezio Auditore di Firenze. He must defend his family name in a bitter blood feud between the warring political familes of Rome, Venice and Florence - the likes of the Paz's and the Borgias. During Ezio's quest - he is mentored by a young Leonardo da Vinci and Niccolo Machiavelli - who will help him decypher the mysterious Templar Codex.
